The SA Politics Thread Part 3

The Moonshooters are fighting amongst themselves again? I wonder what would you find if you were to look at the amount of tweets where they throw cheap shots at each other and compare that to cheap shots they collectively threw at the ANC, I could swear every time they are defeated by the ANC they turn on each other.

Now this Tyrone is bored since being removed as mayor and joining in on the circus, this Moonshot is going to be a resounding success in 2024.

Everyone is setting up a ****ing political party, it seems...

How about we gather some okes from this thread and start our own party, Champ?

It only takes about 30 000 to 40 000 votes to get into the national parliament. How many members does this forum have?

I can only imagine the squabbles, would make the Moonshot fights look like a picnic.

And the high IQ gang would never allow me to lead them anyway, and there's no way I am joining a party where I have no chance of being a leader.

It would probably be highly factional as well. There'd be your faction, mine, the high IQs, etc...

Oh well... :crying:

I think him resigning after next year's elections isn't far fetched but I think Steinberg is wrong on the reasons. Ramaphosa knows and knew how deep the rot in the ANC goes. What he may have miscalculated on is the lack of support of a turnaround or that he's been told by others that you can't clean the ANC without destroying it. His latest appointments including the energy minister shows he has stopped trying to clean but to rather reward comrades who helped him in the past also get a turn at the trough (another turn in Sputla's case).
Last week one of SA’s leading political analysts asked aloud in a note to his clients whether Cyril Ramaphosa had the desire to continue being president. It is a question worth asking.

#whitevictimhood strategies on forum are quite amusing.
Shem, one would have thought SA would have clicked by now that skin colour is not (or should not be) an indicator of well, about anything other than the likelihood of getting sunburn. Still Nats + ANC is a tough one to shake off.

Another Murunwa like scandal inbound...
