I get the moonshot optimism but if they are not able to cobble parties not aligned to ANC & EFF on a regional level, how do they expect it on a national level?

So the leader of a political party says his party doesn't do background checks on people his party recommends for high level political positions.

Here is a hint: National Intelligence is an Oxymoron. They don't do anything. Case in point was the Tshwane mayor, who not only was insolvent, but faked the certificate.

If you just looked at the budget in isolation you can present a very good picture, but one that is not reflective of the situation on the ground.

The Johannesburg council has held 16 extraordinary (unscheduled) meetings this financial year alone, at an approximate cost of R500,000 each — bringing the tab for those meetings to around R8-million.

Durban - The IFP Speaker of the Umvoti (Greytown) local municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands is accused of allegedly building a mini-mansion on invaded municipal land, defying a Pietermaritzburg High Court interdict which barred her and others from doing so.

Speaker Thando Ndlovu first joined the municipal land invaders around 2020 and erected a shack.

How difficult is it to enforce the court order really? Its called a fscking bulldozer.

Hell I'm sure we can crowdfund for one for a week and I'll happily take leave to operate it.
