BEE is just a method of deploying cadres at the top hierarches in SoE's, paving the way for cadre deployment at lower levels.

As can be seen with Eskom, SAA etc.

This new labour law is aimed squarely at the rest of functioning businesses, they want to do the same by getting their cadres in companies, and those cadres will start their baleful work by employing cadres at all levels of said business, forcing other people out.

Then gut that company/institution like they've done with the SoE's - besides, the debt accrued will be somebody else's problem.

Demographics is irrelevant. Income is a better indicator.

The areas described as white above has a shítload of cheaper townhouses. Lower middle class people with jobs of all races. I would even say more than 50% black.

Maybe demographics is the wrong word. I mean the ratio's between the different voters to political party affiliation.

Campbell has nothing to do with this. She wasn't particularly bad at at all.

People are interacting with the councilors a lot more on community telegram groups. And Ekurhuleni DA has a problem with 60 year old fat and lazy councilors. Who are entitled because they've been in a safe DA seat for 20 years where they could just blame the ANC for everthing and now they cannot just blame the ANC for everything.

With the same councilors still in place amazing how it's noticed that places like refuse dumps (Atlas road) have improved.

She has a lot to do with it, she was indecisive and out of her element appointing the wrong MMC. Had plenty of time to pose for publicity pictures for non service delivery "achievements" though.

Nobody care about the MMC or even knows who that is. Average people don't follow politics that closely. I follow politics and don't even know what you are on about. It wasn't even a big news story.

That is the dump closes to my house that I use. It was always functional before the DA. The DA fscked it up and then eventually cleaned up their own mess. It is not some kind of achievement to take credit for. Yes they now collect our trash on time(a service that we pay for) after we had to fight for months with useless councilors to get it done.

You would have expected Campbell to crack the whip together with the MMC she appointed. Atlas or even Boksburg is not unique, Germiston, Kempton Benoni ALL had similar issue, ALL still have same councilors but now with different MMC.
