The IFP continues their trend in KZN. They went up by 25%. EFF and ANC both lost vote share.

Beautiful result for DA in Chatsworth.

IFP couldn't break through here, but this result is an outlier.

DA held the ward. Stagnated. VF+ actually lost vote share.

DA hold. Minor loss. VF+ went up by a sliver. Weird EFF result?

Not surprised by rise in FF+ support in Ekurhuleni, Campbell was a disaster and bad choice for the DA, way out out of her depth particularly when managing the shocking waste and roads issue inherited from ANC it became worse. Would think many former DA voters switched.

Campbell has nothing to do with this. She wasn't particularly bad at at all.

People are interacting with the councilors a lot more on community telegram groups. And Ekurhuleni DA has a problem with 60 year old fat and lazy councilors. Who are entitled because they've been in a safe DA seat for 20 years where they could just blame the ANC for everthing and now they cannot just blame the ANC for everything.

Lovely to see the IFP still rampant in areas in KZN where they've traditionally got single digit voting figures. ANC collapsing in SA's second biggest province is huge news because it means the ANC is very likely to be well under 50% nationally. To go from 0%--> 25% is amazing.

So, if 100% voted instead of 32% then they would have got like a crap load more or than 52% or are 100% of the DA/FF voters voting already?
You cannot say this. 32% is probably a good sample size and the result is accurate. Or it could be ANC voters that also stay away so maybe the ANC would win if everyone needed to vote

Yeah, there is no way to know the demographics of the 32%.

Demographics is irrelevant. Income is a better indicator.

The areas described as white above has a shítload of cheaper townhouses. Lower middle class people with jobs of all races. I would even say more than 50% black.

She has a lot to do with it, she was indecisive and out of her element appointing the wrong MMC. Had plenty of time to pose for publicity pictures for non service delivery "achievements" though.
