I am sure the DA would be very happy to govern just the larney surbubs, but the reality of governing in South Africa means you can't pound yourself on the chest boasting about good governance if you can't govern in poor areas.I think the demarcation board should split Hammanskraal off from evil Pretoria.
But other times when he makes fun of the DA he's not I suppose? You must make up your mind.
You don't think the missing blue colour is a red flag? But other times when he makes fun of the DA he's not I suppose? You must make up your mind.
How's it going in Rustenburg where township and larney suburbs have collapsed.I am sure the DA would be very happy to govern just the larney surbubs, but the reality of governing in South Africa means you can't pound yourself on the chest boasting about good governance if you can't govern in poor areas.
This is the real test of governance, and so far they are failing miserably.
have they found the source yet?It must be an odd thing for the DA to find themselves having to account for anything, they are used to holding others accountable.
Lets see how the PA do after teaming up with the ANC.For once, Roman Cabanac brought up a valid point and he is always almost pro DA.
He says the DA are refusing to work with PA, not because they are a "gangster party" but more because they see them as a threat.
DA have worked with "gangster parties" before as they did to win Cape Town initially circa 2006.
Lets see how the PA do after teaming up with the ANC.
But there is a task team now.

The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) and the City of Tshwane (CoT) have formed a joint task team to resolve the current water challenges following an outbreak of cholera in Hammanskraal, in Pretoria. Not last time I checked, the tap water is apparently fit for human consumption, no matter how unpalatable it looks.

DWS finally coming to the party? I've often wondered what that department does. But there is a task team now.

Yes, lets see how many right wingers there are, but I feel this is where the country is going, right wing.Gayton is a smarter politician than people think. Smart politicans and good people arent always the same. He speaks to people in language they can understand and actually relates to a large extent, better than the ANC and DA, hence they are bleeding votes to him.
He has already said he will go into bed with who gives his guys more jobs, so he isint a flip flopper.
He is also one of the few politicians in SA that gladly owns the right wing label and will not deny it.
As @TheChamp has pointed out before, there have been predictions of the PA's imminent demise on Mybb yet all evidence points that they are here to stay.
So the people he speaks to are dumb then. Because it's in a language they understand. Because they're kommin like that. Like Trump supporters...Gayton is a smarter politician than people think. They are responsible for water security at resource level, that's why you have never seen a DWS worker fixing a water leak in your street.DWS finally coming to the party? I've often wondered what that department does.
Who were these "gangster parties"? ID, PAC, VF+, ACDP? Who exactly? For once, Roman Cabanac brought up a valid point and he is almost always pro DA.
He says the DA are refusing to work with PA, not because they are a "gangster party" but more because they see them as a threat.

A better strategy from DA would have been to work with PA, give them their positions and then break them down from within.
DA's current strategy will likely lose them more votes to PA next year. PA may be one of the surprise packages of 2024, the way things are going.
