The very fact that he is bright enough to know that speaking to people in a language they understand has an impact on how you are perceived makes him a good politician.

Yes, voters are way more kommin than they think, even the high IQ ones, but don't tell them I said that.

Seems like GHL wants to completely devolve electricity to CPT.

The municipality oversees the provision about 70% of the power used in the city, with the remainder falling under Eskom. The discussions, which started about a year ago, form part of Cape Town’s plans to reduce its reliance on the beleaguered utility that’s subjecting the nation to record blackouts.


“We want to supply the entire city,” Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis said in an interview. City officials are “engaged in some rather delicate negotiations with Eskom” and are awaiting written confirmation as to whether its board wants to proceed with the project, he said.

It's not like some haven't tried that approach.

Mmusi and Herman have both dumbed down their vocabulary over the years, but it's obvious they're still coconuts underneathe. Like those people who speak to their gardeners in an accent because they think he'll understand them better if they insult him.

The only way to get it right is if you're kommin yourself. Like uBaba, CiC, Gayton and Trump...

Can't really say I care about TheChamps adoration for Lesufi

But this bollocks of spending "good" money on "solutions", when ignoring things that are actually better solutions is just pissing me off these days. We have a broken 10111 system, but nah we can't fix that.. we'll just find a new tenderpreneur to enrich with some new hairbrained bullshyte that won't actually change anything.
