AG report: Tshwane metro can't provide documents for major tenders

The Tshwane metro got another thumbs down from the Auditor General (AG) after it could not provide supporting documents for the awarding of four tenders that amounted to almost a billion rand.

The Tshwane metro got another thumbs down from the Auditor General (AG) after it could not provide supporting documents for the awarding of four tenders that amounted to almost a billion rand.

It was one of three municipalities in South Africa that got an adverse audit opinion for the latest financial year.

Interesting that Tshwane is in a concerning financial position since the DA coalition took over. And seems to be the only metro in the country in that position.

And funny enough the only metro that the DA has governed for longer after the 2016 takeover, so the metro with the most stable DA led government is the one that is in the worst financial position compared to Joburg and Ekurhuleni that have been changing back and forth between parties.

Ekurhuleni has even gone one better and has just had it's third consecutive clean audit despite the political instability.

A vote for the ANC is the vote for the DA nowadays, the only party we should not vote for is the EFF, which has been declared enemy number 1 by President Moonshot, there's a good reason why it's the EFF and not the Great Liberation Movement.

In this case it's not, if they don't vote, the DA might get a higher allocation of the vote in Tshwane, which will work well for their quest to take Gauteng next year.

But then they will soon learn that sewage contaminated water was the least of their problems when the DA has the control of Tshwane and the province.
