Fortunately the culture is that of the local community, the only time we had to behave was when the white dominee was visiting, it would be very chaotic at church and at home, because after church he had to make the rounds, visiting the elderly members of the church, I still recall how stressed out my late grandmother used to be to make sure everything is perfect for the visit.

For the rest of the year things were pretty chilled because our black dominee, no idea what they were called if not white, was a smoker who owned taxis, and all he was interested in was the tithes and making sure everything is up to date because if you happen to have death in the family while your books were not up to date you would have issues, how the guy made it to being a man of the cloth is still beyond me even today.

I mean to behave in a manner that was foreign to us, which was considered to be acceptable for the Dominee's standards. Other elders of the church were members of the community and could pop in any time and there was never any pomp and occasion, we would be playing in the yard and Mr so and so would pop in and we would continue with whatever we were doing.

It was unfortunately not extortionist because it is the rules of the church, there is a yearly tithe you pay, like a membership fee that confers on you a member in good standing status, besides the usual Sunday donations, so I guess it would have made him look bad if his branch was not compliant. It is the manner in which he carried himself and went about enforcing compliance that was the problem, especially in a poor community that can barely afford food. I am sure if he was a decent human he could have found a much better way of getting his message across.

Unfortunately not, it is the provincial government, led by the person whose name I dare not mention because of the strong reactions it brings out on this forum. All I can say is that the person is hard at work.

So now it's you that won't give names, what happened to shouting down that fine whistleblower patriot Andre DE Ritter when he didn't want to give the names he's already given to the presidents adviser?

Hmm...interesting. Ah, certain types of roads are done by municipalities, then others are done by provincial governments and national roads by the national government. Ah ha.

I had a meeting with Champ Comrade yesterday when we met to celebrate Phuza Thursday and I can tell you in confidence that there is huge threat on his life so he can't mention names. He puts on a brave face on forum but reality is very different.

Yeah its actually a fscking clusterfsck in all honesty.

I get that the N routes are maintained by SANRAL, but this mess of local/provincial/national roads within a municipality is just fscking stupid really.
It really should be simplified to N routes are managed by SANRAL in their entirety, all roads inside a Municipality should be the remit of that municipality other than the N roads.
