Did you read it and try to understand?

It goes to an incredible length to point out it might not be 98% per se and it is outdated.

For the man in the street the simple explanation still stands:

Some buthurt people there at Africa Check.

Lol, Africa Check are one of the most unbiased sources out there and they almost always use objective data to support their views.

You are like Trump and attack a media outlet just for countering your views.

Why not provide analysis countering their data instead of insulting and mocking as you usually do?

That fact checking article shows their bias.

They admit that the stat is right and then go to lengths to try and make it not right.

It is nuanced as they admit.

I don't expect that the average ANC/EFF supporter to get nuance.

I said everyone does it, including the DA, and as usual the fanboois disputed that, I even posted proof of the DA doing it.

This is just another proof that the DA when given a chance will do the very same thing they claim to be opposed to when it's done by the ANC.
So you claim it's not an issue yet you highlight it as an issue.

You need a Bachelors pass to study at Uni which usually means an overall aggregate of at least 60% or so.

What were the WEE requirements under Apartheid?
Google says NO

Bachelor’s Degree Pass Level

A Bachelor’s Degree Pass is the highest Matric pass level you can get. This pass level will allow you to further your studies at university, given that you meet all the other university entry requirements. In order to obtain this pass, you must have the following minimum marks:

  • 40% for your Home Language
  • 50% for four (4) other High Credit Subjects
  • 30% for two (2) other subjects

Meeting these requirements will give you a Bachelor’s Degree Pass level and a minimum APS of 23.

IIRC, @noxibox who studied during Apartheid once mentioned that the pass mark was 25% for some subjects, something that is hardly ever aknowledged.

I wonder how many 25%ers are amongst us.
If I remember correctly in the 90's the pass mark was 2 x subjects 40% or more and the rest 50% or more to make the grade.

So what is the minimum requirement to do a BA currently?

You obviously don't remember correctly, there are many matric certificate out there from the good old days with an F on them, and an F means 30 to 39%.

Do you remember something called an S pass and an M or exemption pass?
