This Mergen Chetty oke from the DA seems dodgy. His actions the article mentions seems like he is trying to hide something.

He was also swearing in the recording. Appalling behaviour from a DA public leader.

Ahh... sweeping corruption allegations under the carpet because they will embarrass the party, where have we seen that before?

However, a recording of a meeting last year between the councillors and DA member of the provincial legislature Mergen Chetty, who is in charge of the Chatsworth constituency, points towards the matter being prevented from going any further in order to avoid embarrassing the party.

Nah he was a Bengal Tiger devotee, so was going to turncoat to the ANC at some point anyway, clearly the DA and him didn't see eye to eye.

The party leadership says Pillay’s claims were made in retaliation for him being disciplined by the DA over poor performance, and that he never backed up his allegations with facts or documentation — or opened a criminal case.

Looks like Pillay pulled a De Ruyter on the DA, report it to his seniors, who are now supposed to protect him like a treasured whistle blower, and proceed to open a case on his behalf, which is the same argument used for De Ruyter.

The DA then tells him to get lost because he has not backed up his allegations with anything or opened a case.

He must do an interview on National television at once and proceed to write a book.

I suggest we award Andre Tropy (that signifies honesty, patriotism, courage and integrity) to Mr. Pillay. What a man, what a man.

The DA Defence force are probably working on a statement of defence as we speak.

Let us not forget that the PA was branded a party heading for the grave here by DA propagandists despite the facts indicating otherwize.

We always hear from some that " the other side must be listened to", Cilliers mentions in the video that they are willing to work with the DA if they negotiate yet some are making conclusions by only listening to the DA's side. Cilliers is composed in this video and sticks to objective analysis, not making anything personal at all.

I'll watch this but again, even if they say they're willing to work with DA, blah blah... They've actively betrayed the DA and various Moonshot coalitions nationwide countless times. So naturally, the DA wouldn't want to cooperate with them willingly.

In the article I posted about the Moonshot convention this week,it's mentioned the proposal by ASA to bring in Al Jama-ah and the PA was shot down by a majority of Moonshot members...
