Panyaza has got himself an ally.
he he I thought the ally would be Malema; birds of a feather.Panyaza really causes chest pains to some on Mybb.
They're still competitors and allies of convenience. The EFF don't like him buying votes with public no more than the rest of us do. Difference is the EFF will do the same in his position.he he I thought the ally would be Malema; birds of a feather.
I assume you'll be backing ANC or the Far-Left Populist bloc next year?Panyaza really causes chest pains to some on Mybb.
When is buying votes with public money acceptable, when it's done by the DA?They're still competitors and allies of convenience. The EFF don't like him buying votes with public no more than the rest of us do. Difference is the EFF will do the same in his position.
Or maybe it is possible to appreciate a good job being done by Panyaza, without necessarily being a supporter of the ANC? I was amongst those who were the biggest supporter of Mashaba's insourcing while he was still a DA mayor, even though I wasn't supporting the DA.I assume you'll be backing ANC or the Far-Left Populist bloc next year?![]()
Was asking since it seems he and you love Lesufi and his populism.Or maybe it is possible to appreciate a good job being done by Panyaza, without necessarily being a supporter of the ANC?
LMAOIt looks like some people struggle to give credit where it's due if the person deserving of the credit does not belong to their party
But was LEAP created explicitly as some half-assed job creation scheme for populist efforts like amaPanyaPanya? No.I have certainly not heard you complaining about vote buying when the WC employs crime wardens in the Independent Republic.
Was asking since it seems he and you love Lesufi and his populism.
LMAO
Look, I'm a person that carries an utter disdain for the ANC. But I can commend, for example, Mbeki for creating the Scorpions. I can credit Mandela for trying to keep the country together and making progress in his term.
I can give credit if it is truly due.
Poor Panyaza isn't getting any from me tho.
But was LEAP created explicitly as some half-assed job creation scheme for populist efforts like amaPanyaPanya? No.
I am not sure where you get that it is only a problem because the ANC are doing it. This Lesufi campaign is the most blatant display of obvious use of public funds to gain votes any party has mounted in a while. It is obvious and you'd have to be blind not to see it. If it was the DA in Lesufi's position I would have the same opposition I have against Lesufi, I think I have stated my reasons many a time here with specific references. My views on this are apolitical. When is buying votes with public money acceptable, when it's done by the DA?
Because of all the people who are moaning about Panyaza I have not heard a single one of them moaning when the DA government in the Western Cape employs people, and it happens all the time, looks like it's one of those things that were very acceptable until the ANC started doing it, then all of a sudden it became a problem.
So it has happened before by other parties but not at this scale? the problem is not actually buying votes with employment, it is being affront and crass about it? If you do it in a dignified manner like the DA it's fine?I am not sure where you get that it is only a problem because the ANC are doing it. You're being obtuse and pedantic I'm sure you understand what I'm saying. So it has happened before by other parties but not at this scale? the problem is not actually buying votes with employment, it is being affront and crass about it? If you do it in a dignified manner like the DA it's fine?
Or it's not fine but something you can live with if done in a tasteful manner?
If there is a need for these people then so be it. But tell me, the people that are already employed to exactly these jobs, what are they doing? So it has happened before by other parties but not at this scale? the problem is not actually buying votes with employment, it is being affront and crass about it? I'll just respond to you with @R13... 's quoteAre LEAP officers working for free and not earning a salary that is derived from WC public money? Or how exactly is it not a job creation scheme?

You've imploded his studio because you've critiqued his hero Panyaza Populist. You're being obtuse and pedantic I'm sure you understand what I'm saying.
