Sometimes I wonder, instead of running off and creating parties... Why not just compete as independents?

That way you don't need to please/work with anyone else.

I think XILUVA will be dead in the water like ARETA.

That's even more reason to fight. The one at the top when that time comes around is the guy making decisions on how positions get parceled out.

They arent going to be better than ANC, possibly worse. There is good reason they lost KZN and they lost it to Mbeki, not Zuma.

DA KZN isint in a good state either with their own infighting so the colaition that could oust ANC does not look promising.

I put it to you that Deputy mayor position in CT has improved their core competancy and leverage. Also, it has been a game changer and synergetic position that has acquired several low hanging fruits. They would just like to implement the same paradigm shift in Tshwane.

I think their model could be more well suited for local government, but Maimane himself is a good brand.

Although I am still not sure how it's all going to work, the way it is there is no chance he is going to end up in parliament, right?
