The IEC in the Eastern Cape reports that Sidanda voting station in the Nyandeni Local Municipality was opened at 16:00 following an intervention by police after a community protest.

"But the community refuses to vote," says IEC's communications officer Sanda Nodada.

Anything that drops the ANC vote share is good news!

But there are always people refusing to vote in every election, that has never helped the DA win any election.

I can't imagine people in the EC are happy, no ways. Frustration warranted.

Exactly.

At my polling station the queue was £_-s long but the person at the substation had no idea what she was supposed to do- which was weird. Someone left their substation for tea or something. This replacement was clueless and her 'manager' came to tell her not to panic.


They struck off my wife's name accidently first when looking at my ID . Lucky my wife was next in line And I was sent from 1 substation to another.

And then took longer to fold the ballot much smaller because the ballot box opening was not that big and this caused another delay as there was a queue now again to fold and insert into ballot box.

Why refuse to vote??? The name Democratic Alliance is like the name Coca Cola throughout the entire Africa, at least vote for them then. This will enable them to feel, see and experience the change!

Less tweets, more actual change!
