What can they do that we haven't gotten used to suffering for more than 20 years? The only thing - Annoy and weaken the ANC, which is plenty welcome in my book.
They can do more than just annoy and weaken the ANC, take a minute to think about it.

Also, didn't the DA also warn about the MK and EFF? When did it become the ANC's fear mongering?

Interesting, had a quick look and this is how the DA fare (so far)
EC: DA(-2)
FS: DA(+4)
GP: DA (+1)
KZN: DA(+2)
LM: DA(+1.5)
MP: DA(+4)
NC: DA(-4)
NW: DA(+1)
WC: DA(-3)

They don't even need to grow to beat the ANC in a few election cycles :sneaky:

Hold the **** up. You're blaming... the voters? The same voters that came together all these years? Same voters that voted the ANC into power in 1994 and kept them in power the years after... those people are the problem?

Not the party, not the state of the country, not the endless problems... but the voters?

Dude it had genuniely not occurred to me up until this point... but I just realised you're probably a high-ranking ANC member. It explains so much. Honoured to have you on the forum.

20% of your press statement was focused on the DA. 20% man. With the way things are looking, that's the same percentage the ANC will lose this year. You must focus your efforts more wisely, perhaps the party would do better.

Don't expect @TheChamp to actually answer. He is refusing to answer the tough questions. Refusing to admit he got it wrong and his GLM is collapsing before his eyes.

But no it's someone else's fault besides the ANC - typical ANC mindset. So no surprises there.

Let's hope so.

Today I went to work at one of the biggest DA run public provincial hospitals in the DA led province.

The elevator has been broken for ages, I took the stairs. (I should have taken a picture). There was a massive ass queue for basic meds like panado and ibuprofen at 8am.

I had to work in a room where the overhead room light barely works because they cannot order a simple replacement light bulb. The dental chair is stuck in one position and the dental light doesn't work. This makes working impossible and I am a tall guy. These problems were reported months ago.

I deal with specialised cases like oral cancers. How am I supposed to see anything- I just try with my cellphone light sometimes. I did biopsies and sutured today under impossible situations, waiting for assistants because that place is understaffed. I had to move a patient off the chair because there was still blood splatter from someone else's patient who didn't wipe down the chair probably.

And this is not the only Western Cape public health facility I work at. The others have even worse horror stories.
@DentistGuy

i'm curious as to who deals with and how recources are managed.
i was recently taken on a "tour" - somerset hospital, sitting on masses of the most valuable real estate in the country.
here, some derelict & unused buildings ripe for a private developer to step in, in conjunction with dept health

this lot, directly alongside the waterfront, heart of greenpoint, and a virtually zero noise environment, could raise around R100m very quickly, and still leave acres of land for future hospital expansion into the next century.

Exactly. Didn't expect DA to increase as they do in MP, FS and LM.

GP is a bit of a let down currently, WC is equal to 2019 really, KZN has minor bump up, hoped Pappas would score more, maybe they will...

Only provinces DA has got hit so far is NC.

Travelling to my hood today in the North-West (in Klerksdorp). I’ll be met with gang potholes and the general nastiness, and yet it’s an ANC stronghold.

The beers and politics chat tonight will be legendary.
Seems like ANC will hold NW albeit reduced... Eish... o_O

@TheChamp

what you you believe is the cause of anc loyalists finally abandoning their party during this election ?
zuma's party and kzn was a bit of a surprise, but around the rest of the country anc votes have dropped - as they have one election after the next.

i have my own thoughts on this, but curious to hear yours ?

Looking at the multiple attacks on the DA from all parties, woke MSM, woke political commentators, social media influencers, etc. I think they did pretty well.
