my money is on tygerburg
Wouldn't surprise me - it's been on a downward trajectory for decades.

Fckit, I remember going there as a kid for dental work (it got done for free by the senior students) - the place was state of the art. One of my neighbours was studying there so I went with him in the morning and got to wait in the student lounge. Good times

its tragic
a good hospital, good doctors - but let down hideously by a lack of adequate funding.

having said that, the ER dept deal with a lot of very severe injuries out of high velocity accidents on the N1 & R300.
they do a pretty stellar job, certainly among the very best in the country.

Champy was trying to mock most of the times but literally every DA member's comment against him is deeply personal and bordering on hate at times. I think he provides a kind of release valve. :cool:

He's a born-free Zim expat that crowned himself the expert of all things SA. Stop simping....

90% that voted for them cannot read so they wouldn't know what the manifesto says.

Like everything in this country...
Those who can are let down by those that "administer".

@DentistGuy

i'm curious as to who deals with and how recources are managed.
i was recently taken on a "tour" - somerset hospital, sitting on masses of the most valuable real estate in the country.
here, some derelict & unused buildings ripe for a private developer to step in, in conjunction with dept health

this lot, directly alongside the waterfront, heart of greenpoint, and a virtually zero noise environment, could raise around R100m very quickly, and still leave acres of land for future hospital expansion into the next century.
I agree.

It's a fantastic location.

Just like most people here on the Forums, I haven't really gone into the main parties manifesto but I came across a proposal from MK about a year of military service...Interesting
