I can’t take anyone seriously who says the DA was humbled or it somehow has a poor performance. Imho they did well. This was an incredibly tough election. They had PA and ASA chipping away at them - despite that they managed not only to recover from 2019 - but stabilized and surpassed 3 million votes. That’s a mild success.

We heard how they would loose WC and dip below 20%.

Sore losers.
What other party can claim that besides MK? Everyone else basically did worse.

I personally think the ANC needs a minute (or a week), to figure out who they are now. They've just went through something like a lobotomy. So now what abilities do they retain? How has their logic changed? Do they suddenly have better math ability? :sneaky:

In order to figure it all out and survive this and outwit and outlast their opponents, they'll now be forced to allow Starlink in SA so that they can then get access to Neuralink.

? They still got 40%. DA got just over half of that.

Aren't we jumping to conclusions? Politics is weird.

Who knows what will happen to a newly formed MK in 5 years time?

Due to the strong ethnic undercurrent of the MK, their ceiling in SA politics is about 25%. And that's being unrealistically generous. It's the danger of going tribal.

So good luck with that.

Personally I think they've done about as good as they ever will.
