At 40% - not even the EFF can help them with a majority now.

It’s either:

- ANC + MK
- ANC + DA
- ANC + EFF + small party

KZN is already an example of that and what did people do? Double down. Communism can always get worse. We aren't anywhere near rock bottom.

Celebrating that from now on people will know it is possible for anc to loose. The results point to a massive leadership deficit in the country. The appetite for change is real but there is no one to fill the void.

I voted DA, and I'm STILL happy, and, I can drink daily so I'm not salty, perhaps a bit sour but HAPPY!
 
I don't know, something in the back of my mind says the moderates of the ANC and the DA will end up merging somewhere in the future...
Like Jan Smuts' SAP and Hertzog's OG NP merged to form the United Party in the 1920s...

P.S I don't want this per se, but it's very possible.
