Him being an ANC president has nothing to do with it. If it were not for the ConCort ruling against him right before elections, MK would have done a little worse.

Kwa-Zuma Natal is f£#ked. Most Zuma backers are corrupt and benefitted from the 'lost 9 years'- Louis Liebenberg, the illicit cigarette cartels in KZN, Roy Moodley (who I'm not sure if he funded Zuma this time- because he formed his own party) - are all going to be looking for a return on investment.
