No. The demand for more pro black parties are already satisfied by the EFF and MK.

The DA can never be a more pro black party amd it has nothing to do with alienating their core electorate who are people of all colours who believe in the unified rainbow nation dream.

They will grow when people see actual improvement with them in charge. That why it is really bad that the DA fan boys in Capetown make excuses for the DA fsckups in Pretoria. People are not seeing that better governance.

because the DA don't have a majority and coalitions suck donkeys balls.
 
I think it's a bit naive to think that politics works that way. They lost support in WC.

Even though we get a lot of provincial government sponsored propaganda about how well the WC works.

I also think the makeup of the party generally should represent the makeup of their voters. In South Africa- we must accept that race issues will always be utilized politically. Race forms our identity in SA. Maybe it will change in the future but definitely not in our lifetimes.

If for eg. White people don't vote for the ANC- it doesn't make sense that we have a 50/50 black- white ratio. I'm not sure about the demographics and race of DA voters but it will be interesting to see if the race ratio of DA politicians represent the race of their voters?

Many white people did vote ANC. Progressive idiots were falling over themselves to support the new dawn.

You forget our history. White people went through this debate in the 1990's and decided they want the rainbow nation where we are all equal and get along and don't see race.

Then you still have people on the other side who feel that's not enough they want revenge.

That's were politics is at the moment.
DA: Work together/ rainbow nation.
ANC: Stuck in the middle wanting to loot some more
EFF/MK Commies out to destroy SA and get revenge.

Because we have a lot of poor stupid people who think socialism/communist can actually work. And they fall for the promises of free stuff.

So in theory there are instances where she could even be more black than black people.

Take a drive to CPT airport. Informal settlements, illegal shebeens known to cops, animals on the road (I saw sheep, cows, goats, chickens...the full animal farm experience).

Traffic lights at the intersection not working. No traffic cops. The stench from failing sewage infrastructure that greets our international visitors. If your car breaks down in that area or anywhere from the airport to your hotel then you are f*cked.

The filth around that area and driving down the N2- and tell me with a straight face that the WC is being optimally governed? Or are we just dealing with a party with a better PR team?

It's not the governments job to give everyone a house.

The animal farm experience is actually a really good sign. Especially in poor communities.
Animals = some form of substance farming and wealth/food security.

Round jhb you still get some live chickens in very poor conditions in the townships but not much else. And it's starting to get rarer.
I was north of Pretoria about a year ago and the lack of animals in the townships are really concerning.

I wonder how high is stock theft in these areas.
