@The_Right_Honourable_Brit Just read it in ST. Some "senior" leaders of the ANC apparently say they won't apportion Cabinet according to vote share... It is in the current GNU agreement to do so...

And apparently, they're open to negotiating over police and education (DA must go for police).

At least one thing that corresponds with Rapport is that DA will likely get trade and industry.

Once Zuma goes, the party will implode. But those votes won't go back to ANC, but rather others like EFF and maybe PAC.

Agree that they will explode. There is nothing there besides Zuma.

Disagree on the rest. I reckon they will hop back to ANC. Everyone talking about how the ANC lost votes due to this and that... bollocks. The majority of them (not the bots on X) voted for their Zulu messiah. Once it implodes they will go back to the ANC.

If they wanted EFF ideology they would have switched this election. The EFF did a great job of getting their message out there and 1.5x the votes went to the party of the convicted criminal rapist who only started their campaign 3 months prior.

It's pure numbscullery.

Nope, pre-MK RET okes went to EFF, once MK goes (either implodes or does a merger with EFF) they'll head back to EFF, etc rather than the "sellout" ANC.

They might go to the IFP. IFP was looking at a big comeback last year before Zuma threw a spanner in the works in December...

And the guy speaking said that they must do away with Roman-Dutch law..........................

Ok, and what exactly will take it's place?

Does anyone know what they mean by this statement. I mean is it just as bat-poop crazy as it sounds, or do they actually have some kind of alternative in the making?
 
I don't understand why there is even an argument, they will go to the ANC, IFP and EFF. There is no ideology or conviction for the majority of those voters, they are fluid and would seamlessly vote for any of those parties.

The current laws trigger them and thus it is called evil Roman-Dutch law. And must be replaced by "African laws" i.e. laws that let dictators do whatever the **** they want elsewhere in the continent, also prevalent in North Korea.
