The SA Politics Thread Part 6

How do these Afrikaner interests feel about their leader dancing with the minister of loadshitting and also them voting for ANC cars in Durban?

They hardly have any power in Ethekwini so that issue won't have a big effect IMO. Lets just wait and see the election results to see who is right but IMO, they will remain as they were in 2019.

I thought you lean towards VF+?

The VF+ appeals to white Afrikaner interests and they don't have a direct competitor for that right now. Being a 2% party is actually a blessing in disguise for them. If they expanded further, they were bound to get into a situation where someone would break ranks and attempt to form their own party and appeal to the same community.
That doesn't answer the question. Does the ANC appeal to white Afrikaners? Because that's who the VF+ is cozying up to. It's almost like they already struck a deal should the ANC get 45%<50%...

As I said to Wingnut, let's just wait and see the results to see who is right. I maintain that they will stay the same and you entitled to your opinion. Us debating endlessly is pointless now.

I've always voted DA, but was thinking FF+ this time round because I can't afford the DA prices after they start governing, but not now after they voted with ANC.

The VF+ aren't going to lose many votes. They don't have a direct competitor for the niche they appeal to so they are safe for now. If Afriforum decided to contest like how they contest some Uni elections, VF+ would be wiped out.

I think they lose quite a few votes - perhaps 1/10 to 1/5 of their votes in 2019, as the current DA isn't as left-wing as Mmusi, who was taking it into a decidedly "ANC lite" direction.

They've remained pretty stable in the bi-elections as far as I've seen. Remember people knew they were going to do well in 2019 due to their performances in bi-elections in the run-up.

So certain folks are like "I shat in my pants and managed to clean myself" proud?

Thank you Hugh Glenister!

Yes, the African National Cleptocracy was hard at at work, even so it took 13 years of stalling (to quickly steal all the country's wealth) before fixing what they broke.

I guess it's an InB4 ...

This is so retarded.

How is it "History Made"? - Literally using the Scorpions as an example. ANC are basically trying to patch self inflicted bullet wounds and expect us to congratulate them by giving them our vote. They can go **** themselves.
This is history. As I said:

"I shat in my pants and managed to clean myself" proud?

It depends on perspective. Unbelievable!

Wow, DA up to 24.4 percent on the 66 percent turnout model (SRF)

ANC on 42.2 percent.

Late deciders are decisively choosing the DA over the GLM !
