Won't help those that semi-grated. I think we're looking at the largest number turned away from polls in our history. Wouldn't be surprised if the numbers are in the hundreds-of-thousands.
They've had multiple widely publicised chances to register. Nobody should be claiming ignorance on this...

I think

ANC 44.3
DA 25.1
MK. 10.8

DA hasn't been putting effort to reach out beyond the base under JS, they focused more on stability and winning back the trust of the base more than growing outside (which to their credit they achieved).

An high turnout election isin't exactly good news for them. I'd hazard a guess they will get 19-22 percent.

If you really feel that strongly about them, split your vote. Vote for them on national, and others on your regional and provincial ballots.

Just don't vote ANC/EFF/MK please...
You want to give OHM the best shot for Parliament, so why not vote twice?

Uhm.

From 21% to over 25% is roughly a 20% increase.

You musta finished school after '94.
That's not how you phrased. I just read it again with my post '94 schooling and saw no mention of a 20% increase in DA support...

'DA Federal Council chairperson Helen Zille says the official opposition is not ruling out the possibility of going into coalition with the ANC because it will not outright win the national elections this coming Wednesday.'

-Did the Multiparty charter people see this?

The ANC got 46% in 2021, that is the base to work from, anyone who comes up with a number lower than that is talking rubbish.

Since we all know this is a National election, it is clear that the ANC have got the majority in the bag, without a shadow of doubt in our minds and in our hearts.

Historically higher turnout elections favour GLM and not DA who benefit from lower turnout.

I'm also struggling to see where those from the Mybb DA committee that predict significant growth see where that will come from. IMO, they stay where they were in 2019.

They may gain back some lost VF+ votes but ignore that their vote has been further fragmented by the likes of PA, Action SA, Rise Mzansi and even Mmusi who will take away what would have been an extra seat for them.

The DA lot are a special bunch, remember when they were jumping up and down when some poll said they were getting 35%?

They are detached from reality, don't even waste your time trying to rationalize their dreams.
