All by design. We could vote anywhere in the first 2 elections.Yup. Lots of people on WhatsApp groups telling people they can vote anywhere. Then getting upset and showing me IEC website when I say they are wrong.

I've been getting nonstop YouTube ads from the Western Cape Provincial Department about their 'excellent projects' in combatting crime.
So was it an DA add, or a provincial government ad? Did the provincial government tell you to vote DA? What the GLM did here is effectively abuse the public broadcaster for free electioneering, which is actually despicable, but shows their desperateness.I've been getting nonstop YouTube ads from the Western Cape Provincial Department about their 'excellent projects' in combatting crime.
All the money in the world won't make up for all their blunders. The Blue Machine invests heavily into its PR machine.
We will see.20% increase for the DA? I doubt it.
I think MK will be closer to 7%. ANC at 44-45% makes sense to me.
The ANC got 46% in 2021, that is the base to work from, anyone who comes up with a number lower than that is talking rubbish.
Since we all know this is a National election, it is clear that the ANC have got the majority in the bag, without a shadow of doubt in our minds and in our hearts.

We both know exactly why this Western Cape Provincial government boasting ad. campaign has been taken out just before the elections. So was it an DA add, or a provincial government ad? Pretty much what we were expecting...What's Serial saying then?
COMMENT | This is turning into a blatant electioneering speech by Ramaphosa. He cites all manner of progress by his government, referring to energy, infrastructure and the fight against crime and corruption. It is a clear last-ditch attempt to win over voters to the ANC. Surely an abuse of power by the president? An abuse of public resources and the public broadcaster?
BOSA,Rize and DA in that order is what I got.Interesting. Take this short quiz to see which party aligns most to your personal beliefs.

WRAP | COMMENT: Ramaphosa ‘abuses’ national address to cynically campaign for the ANC | News24
President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation on Sunday ahead of the general elections this week.www.news24.com
At this point, I don't know...Where do you see this years turnout?
I will always find it hilarious when people feign indignation when politicians show they have flexible loyalty. That's democracy. Always has been. Always will be. The alternative is a Monarch.'DA Federal Council chairperson Helen Zille says the official opposition is not ruling out the possibility of going into coalition with the ANC because it will not outright win the national elections this coming Wednesday.'
-Did the Multiparty charter people see this?
At minimum DA should be back at 2014 levels (22 - 23%). Even better if they go 24 - 27%. Nothing more than that.Historically higher turnout elections favour GLM and not DA who benefit from lower turnout.
I'm also struggling to see where those from the Mybb DA committee that predict significant growth see where that will come from. IMO, they stay where they were in 2019.
They may gain back some lost VF+ votes but ignore that their vote has been further fragmented by the likes of PA, Action SA, Rise Mzansi and even Mmusi who will take away what would have been an extra seat for them.
