One day it will dawn on you that 23% of the vote went to radical parties. There is no panic. Just facts.

The one thing keeping those radicals out of government is the DA. No need to panic now, but if the DA loses much of its voter base this country could be in for a lot of trouble. After crippling load shedding, inflation and corruption I know it feels like a nothingburger, but the adults are paying attention.

Reality is going to hit home for EFF and MK. The WMC money will start drying up as their irrelevance increases...

Yeah, this is the bigger "long run" consequence for them.

They will be shut out of power, be irrelevant, funding will dry up etc etc... I don't expect EFF to go away anytime soon, but they will stabilist around the 5% mark. I expect MK to morph into something else but I expect them to largely collapse over the next few years to become a very small irrelevant party if they manage to survive after Jacob throws them to the curb for being useless and not achieving his goals.
