Isn't that the Speakers job? Sounds like a made up position.
No, the Speaker you could say is the chairperson of Parliament/council. The Chair of Chairs is the chairperson of all the committees of Parliament/council's chairpersons.

Let's analyze, shall we?


IFP 54% (increased by 29% since last year)
ANC 43% (tanked by 16% since last year)
EFF 2% (tanked by 10% since last year)

IFP absolutely nailed ANC and bagged another ward for the UF. It secures the council a bit more for the UF there.


The DA has won the ward in Prince Albert. They now govern Prince Albert outright and secured another muni for the UF.

DA 51% (increased by 21% since last year)
KGP 48% (ANC-coalition partner) (increased by 16%, most likely due to PA and ANC voters backing KGP)
ARA 1%
EFF <1%

Summary:
The DA and IFP's offensives were successful. The UF has secured two wards and a muni. ANC and allies are still on the run.
