Let's analyze, shall we?

IFP 54% (increased by 29% since last year)
ANC 43% (tanked by 16% since last year)
EFF 2% (tanked by 10% since last year)

IFP absolutely nailed ANC and bagged another ward for the UF. It secures the council a bit more for the UF there.

The DA has won the ward in Prince Albert. They now govern Prince Albert outright and secured another muni for the UF.

DA 51% (increased by 21% since last year)
KGP 48% (ANC-coalition partner) (increased by 16%, most likely due to PA and ANC voters backing KGP)
ARA 1%
EFF <1%

Summary:
The DA and IFP's offensives were successful. The UF has secured two wards and a muni. ANC and allies are still on the run.
Much better analysis than DAwie Biased.

You guys are overly touched by Dawie's commentary
It's not being overly touched. Just saying how it is. He has a thing against the DA.
He still thinks DA is in decline and not recovering.

This.
This is the third ward DA has taken off ANC/ANC allies, this year. In the wards they successfully defend, they improve vote share. But nah, "DA DYING LMAO".
Yes, exactly. I decided I won't bother with him anymore. I will let the stats paint the picture. I do not care for Dawie's take or opinions.

How is this possible. Steenhuisen does not have post matric, Zille is damaging the party, they whine all the time, they engage in negative politics, they the biggest culprits of cadre deployment., etc. At least that's what the anti DA claim all the time.

So as a person who isn't anti-DA in the slightest, I think the Steenhuisen one has some merit but is largely irrelevant. Zille on the other hand does damage the party in areas that do matter... the rest well it will all depend on the context really, though the negative politics aspect does seem to be largely a thing of the past.
