That would not be a failure, they got just over 2% the previous election, mid single digits will almost be them doubling their voter share in a space of 3 years. If the DA get even 1% more you won't call it a failure, will you?

What is even more funny is that someone from a party that is not supposed to see colour knows that Beaumont must be a Baas at ActionSA and everyone is dancing to his tune, now how ironic is that?

It is most likely that she is going to jump over to Baas Beaumont party, not tomorrow or next week but she is. After this there is going to be a fallout with some questioning if staying around when you are not in Cape Town is worth the trouble.

There, was already trouble when the Joburg leadership of the party was suspended after the election, I think some will perhaps question if the alignment of ideas in terms of growing the party is working out or not.

This girl is doing it incompetently though. She's at best incompetent and malicious at worst. She's bungling her way to removing a girl who is actually doing it while she herself is being propped up by the association of cronies and nepotists.

Despondent to the whole thing really. What's the point in voting, if in the end, someone can pay someone else to vote a certain way and under the will of the people.

It's sad, because I am starting to see good change in the city, the UF has made an impact - and now, the ANC will come back to **** it up.

So, when does it end? Are we going to have minority governments - unstable ones at that for the foreseeable future? Because signed agreements mean nothing, it seems.
