Sad, sad day for South Africa.

JHB will most likely go the way of PE. Completely destroyed by the ANC & it's coalition of corruption as they extract as much rent from the dying entity before their time is up. Then a few weeks before 2024 they will approach the DA with their beggar bowls asking for a DA mayor to come and try and fix it. And by then it will be too late.

Problem is a year from now they will blame their non performance on the previous UF saying they left it in such a mess it will take a while to sort out. 2021 when the UF took over the ANC were highlighting shortfalls after month claiming the UF were letting the residents down.
 
Let's be honest here, even if DA relented on the Speaker, PA would've left anyway. They were already in talks with ANC.

They also used the same pathetic "they insult us" excuse like here in WC before they went over to ANC.

I mean DA and ASA insult each other almost daily, yet you don't see either of them leaving coalitions over "they insult us"...

By the way yesterday the first-ever DASO Federal Congress was held. So that means DASO must've grown in such a way that they were finally able to hold a Federal Congress.
