Moving on then, it's apparent that the DA needs to get beyond 20% range of votes. That would make these sort of attacks harder to pull off.

Sadly, I don't see the DA breaking 30%.

I don't think it's impossible for them to strike 25% this time round on a national scale.

25% would be a decent jump though. But they need to get out of the 20s.

No idea who this walking piece of excrement is, but no question that their fingers will be in the till and JHB will continue its descent into a less clean ,less safe version of Mogadishu.

Which people did you talk to and what real change did they tell you about? I feel bad for Dr Phalatse because she was let down by her party, I thought she needed enough time to implement whatever plans she had for the city. Coming back to the change we were already seeing there wasn't much, I live in a better part of the city so the infrastructure wasn't bad to begin with but roads were still unmarked, the dogdy workmanship on potholes was already unravelling. I haven't been to any townships recently so I really don't know what was happening there but I haven't heard anyone raving about the good service delivery.

The only thing I can commend is the work they were doing in cleaning the inner city, besides that i really cant see anything exceptional.
