We can actually. I mean they hyped him up as the second coming of Mandela. And of course, that image was seared into minds...

But also, I think people were so desperate for a non-Zuma-esque leader at the time, that they'd take anyone who made the right noises...

Media can do whatever they want. If you're too dumb to see a conman from a mile off the joke's on you

Would be cool to see the DA thump the PA/ANC again.

They have far more resources - both organisationally and financially - than the PA, so they should just win through a far superior ground operation. Obviously it's always hard to get people to pitch up for a by-election on a random Wednesday, but it's up to the political parties involved to get out their supporters.

Please remind the people what her claim to fame scandals are again. It's hard for me keep track of the musical chairs. She was water and sanitation when the army was trying to fix the **** flowing into the vaal or something?
Also of "let the Rand fall, we will pick it up again" fame .

Bosasa!

I see Mncwango has resigned from the DA, I guess the writing has always been on the wall.
Who is surprised? No one is.

The moment he went on about "DA RIGHT WING", "DA ARROGANT". I knew he was probably going to be ASA's new KZN leader.

ASA now has 5 provincial heads that are former DA. Strengthing the COPE: DA image...
