That would be awesome, but over the last couple of years the dealers started preparing for this. It's called balloon payments. You buy a car, drive it for 3 years, trade it in for a new one - rinse and repeat. Effectively the dealers put themselves on the payroll of as many locked-in buyers as possible to ensure their future.Everyone should boycott buying new vehicles for a while and see the prices at the dealerships drop drastically as a result.
