The Starfield thread

Yeah but I dont know why so many weapons....

I only have 4 auto turrets on my Vista and 90% of the time enemy ships die before I even get them in my targeting circle. I have to actively turn them off if I plan on boarding.
As you progress, you get into higher level systems where the enemies are tough. Or just many, so it becomes a problem. Also, there's something extremely satisfying about hitting fire and watching a whole bunch of lazers fly out. I removed my auto turrets because I never get to board anything with them enabled.

So the credits rolled tonight, and I'm not sure how I feel. I have sunk almost all my spare time into this game since it released. It's time to put her to bed for now.

Never been a Ng+ person with any game, and really there is nothing special about it in this one imo. once a story ends for me, I am done.

Had some lol bugs, and some Hella frustrating ones. I still couldn't complete Operation Starseed - managed to get the oke I needed to talk to out of the inaccessible building, and then the oke I needed to kill got stuck inside it. after spending 20m trying to punch the oke through the wall, I gave up.

The ending?

Weird. I feel satisfied and not satisfied. the music and graphics were pleasant.

I like how they showed you the impact of your decisions, although I wish it was a bit more detailed. It was rather brief.

The two options though, neither really made sense to me, so I chose to go in the black hole and leave everyone I know - don't understand why I was leaving them but anyway.

While I sank many hours into the game I never really got into large parts of it. Outposts, ship building, even upgrading my ship - not really stuff for me.

It's no 10/10 game, but there were some really good moments and it told some great stories at times. I will definitely buy the DLC.

Hit 3 biomes, landed on volcanic.

Recreated by using pre travel save file from Xbox on PC to confirm its not a fluke.

Just started Starfield today. Took me about 1hr and lots of googling just to figure out how to pick up ship parts after destroying the first ships during the tutorial :X3:

Nowhere did they say I first have to lock-on first before I can pick up space junk. Weird design choice.

Liking the game a lot so far and it looks, sounds and plays great (playing on ultra and no issues). Also loving the combat both on the ground and in space. Already out of inventory space though which sucks and walking speed is way too slow. Don't always want to run, especially indoors. Maybe the slowest walking speed I've ever seen in a game other than Tomb Raider Underworld.

After I saw ^ I did some reading and Googling

Was shocked at how much content was actually cut from the game in order to release. From minor stuff like fuel systems to big stuff like land vehicles and actual spacewalks. Hell half the game was developed for the old engine and just imported into the new one.

Wonder how much they planning to bring back in coming DLC's and how much gone bye bye for good, guess only time will tell.

Starfield is amazing. Not surprised though because I'm such a massive fan of Elder Scrolls and Fallout and Starfield is basically that but in space. Can see the game ending up in my top 20 easily. Don't think it will beat Elder Scrolls though.

Always overencumbered in Starfield :cautious:

Worst thing about the game by far is the horrible inventory management. Can't stand it. Spending a lot of time just standing there trying to figure out what I'm supposed to drop, and I feel like I'm not even carrying that much lol
