The Starfield thread

Yeah, it can be a bit overwhelming. I recall walking through New Atlantis once and having like 6 Activities pop up.
Exactly why I love Bethesda's open world games so much. Gives you plenty to do as you explore but not repetitive stuff like ubisoft.

Spent about 2 days just exploring New Atlantis looking for stuff to add to my to do list for later :)

Can't wait for ES6. Starfield is great but it doesn't even come close to Elder Scrolls imo.

Tbf, a buch of Bethesda's side quests/activities are pretty repetitive and meaningless, too. :p

Guys, funny story: I already did the Mantis quest ages ago haha :ROFL::ROFL:

Didn't know THAT was the Secret Outpost mission. You guys could have told me before I flew all the way out there again lol. Even funnier that I flew all the way back there... in the Razorleaf!

You should fly back there...third times the charm

Trust me ;)

This is all on you, the only way to make the base "spawn" is by reading the notice.
You can't stumble onto it as it literally doesn't exist till you get & read the notice. :p

On a side note: NG+1, just picked up and "fixed" my Eagle so can now go artifact hunting:

Edit: Sad to see that 300K credits knowing I had at least 3 million in the original universe.

I see you've taken the pacifist role :p

Cool ship. Built from scratch?

I still only have basic or free ships. Can't afford anything else.

No edited Star Eagle (Free ship.)

Removed wings,
Changed Top to (2 x 1 Captains quarters + 1 x 1 Companion Way)
Changed Mid (2 x 2 Cell block) for (2 x 2 Living quarters) Kept (2 x 1 Control & 2 x 1 All-in-1)
Changed bottom (3 x 1 Engineering and 1 x 1 Storeroom) for (2 x 1 Armory and 2 x 1 Workshop)
Swapped EM for ballistic and added extra lasers.

She now feels spacious with all the stuff I need and has quite a kick.

Started playing the game last night and I suspect I am on a massive learning curve.
Graphics and music are great so hoping this keeps me occupied for a while.

Sure beats mastering guns on a meat grinder map in BF2042.

Why is every single construction worker in this game female?

It's like AC Odyssey where all athletes you can talk to are female as well.

Also noticed the 60-40 split in the game of enemies and NPCs in favor of the female gender. Why Bethesda, why?
I must admit I prefer fighting mostly male enemies with the odd female here and there...but this is a bit ridiculous.

You guys find the weirdest **** to complain about :D

If her gun is the same size as the guy's gun, does it make a difference? Just don't let her shoot you in the eye out of revenge.

Yeah but construction workers don't have guns.

I guess in the future construction jobs are reserved for the ladies.

Ladies can do construction, especially when technology is advanced to the point that we're not carrying heavy stuff around, which could be a limitation.

i knew a chick once who really knew how to use a jackhammer.
