The Super PSP Thread

i have a sony memory stick PRO DUO HIGH SPEED [2GB], but for some reason have had no success with hacked SW, what gives?

About these mem sticks. I got my 2gb card off ebay, brandnew, incl shipping and insurance for R195 (or there abouts), I bought my friends for around R180 (incl shipping and insurance). That is the cheapest I have found, but you do wait around 2 weeks for it.
 
buy it locally (cape town) from a guy I know, R350. at least you meet him in person when exchanging the money, and if there is a problem with it, you can exchange it.

Hi Guys.

I went down to Hifi corp on the weekend and brought an adapter from them on special. It cost me R300 bucks for a 4 in 1 Tekq branded pack with a 2 year warranty.

Contents are:
1x 1gb MicroSD
1x MicroSD - Pro Duo Converter
1x MicroSD - MiniSD Converter
1x MicroSD - SD Converter

I am very happy with this deal as I will make use of the other adapters around the house as well. :cool:

A friend of mine just brought me a 4 gig original sony stick from japan,It sucks as the transfer rate is so slow when you connect via usb.What memory stick is faster than an original sony pro duo
 
The fake memory sticks are normally slow. But then again, copying something big over the usb WILL be slow. Rather get the adapter and plug it directly into you laptop or pc.
 
I found getting the 2 gig and 4 gig pro duo's 'cheap' from anywhere are usually slow and break sooner than the originals bought from legit retailers or wholesalers.

if it works, just settle for the slow copy times. at least it plays the games fine.
