ouch, I was hoping for something slightly cheaper :eek:. I realize the extra's probably make it worth it, but I just don't have that cash. :(
 
I really hate the crime in SA,My bag with my psp's got stolen out the car at about 1am in southfield.SO i am sitting with no psp's,It also had a 4 gig stick in the bag and charger,damn crooks.
So guys i am also looking for a psp now.Is sucks bigtime,

worst is my cc,bankcards id and my phone ws in my bag.
Now if only knew where they will sell that stuff.
 
sh*t my man, that is terrible. :mad: Punks smashed out my side window and took my GPS and service history book :confused: two weeks ago. Someone out there must be sitting with a bunch of once bricked PSP's for sale that can hook us up. I hope.

BTW what kind of memory sticks will the PSP take? Only a specific kind or any SD mem card?

silkman,Check your system settings and look in there to see what your firmware is under.If it says 1.5 then it is,also check the sticker under the psp 1001 is also an original 1.5,but i guess by now you already running m33 352.Please dont upgrade to 371m33 yet,wait for completion first.

Also firmware updates comes randomly,then its the work of hackers to sort out the coding and bring you custom firmware which is actually a mixture of the latest update mixed with 1.5.
 
3.71 M33 doesn't install 1.50 kernel with it. They say it'll be released in a few days though. I only needed 1.50 kernel to run one or two games and almost never needed it for a homebrew app. The only relevant homebrews for me are:
UMD Dumper
USB SSS
DAX Loader

Then again I needed the old kernel to run the MAC changer. So then to update or not. That is the question.

Oh yeah! You don't need 1.50 kernel to run psx, right?
 
you really dont need that firmware now,Besides 1.5 kernel is like mainly used for homebrew apps,GAmes dont really need that,as long as the firmware is higher than the game requirements.Say the game requires 340 firmware then its oviouse that you can play it cause you have 352 firmware installed.
About the mac changer i dont really know what you mean?
Psx games run on anysystem that has 3.xx installed.
If you on custom firmware remember to put all the pop.prx files in the seplugin folder.
Just leave your psp on 352m33.
I dont think there are games in SA that relys on a higher firmware than that.
 
MAX memory stick size?

hi guys

1.anyone have any idea whats the maximum memory stick size that a psp can take?
2. where's the best place to buy one from?
3. also, whats the best program to get a dvd onto my psp?
