thanx in advance
ps i've downloaded organ xmb too, but dont have the faintest idea what to do with it
Dear MR Killa...
For this to work, you will hopefully have 3.52/3.71 M33 on your PSP. First off, what you need to do is make a backup of your Flash0 Folder. So turn off your PSP entirely. Then turn it back on holding down the R shoulder button. Go into Advanced and select "Toggle USB (flash0)" with the USB plugged into your PSP as well as the PC. The Flash0 will now open on your PC. Make sure you can view all files and folders by turning it on in XP/Vista. Then select all the folders in the Flash0 and copy it into a folder on your PC. This will be your backup of the Flash0 in case something goes wrong.
Now select Toggle USB (flash0) again to disable the USB connection and then exit recovery mode to boot into the PSP XMB. You will now need to download some homebrew that will make space in your Flash0 in order to copy all the files in the Organ XMB replacement. This is because some of the files used in Organ is bigger than the original PSP XMB files. Go
here to download Flash Agent D4. Move it to the needed folder on your PSP and use it to make the space in your Flash0. This homebrew app and most others like it still use the 1.50 kernel to run, so if you have 3.71 M33, you will need to install the kernel add on for it, and then tell your PSP to use it from recovery mode. You will find that setting under "Configuration" and then toggle "Game folder homebrew".
Now, the Organ XMB is easy to transplant *pun intended*. Turn your PSP off entirely again and then turn it back on holding down the R shoulder button to boot into recovery mode.
Once in Recovery Mode, go to Advanced, and then select Toggle USB (flash0) with the USB cable plugged in.
Now extract the contents from the Organ archive. Once in the folders you will be presented with the font; module; and resource folders.
Copy the files in the font folder to the font folder which is in the Flash0 folder of your PSP. Then copy the files in the module folder into the Module folder on the PSP. I think that is located in vsh\module. The stuff in the resource folder must be copied to vsh\resource in your PSP's flash0.
After all the files have been replaced, Toggle USB (flash0) again to disable the connection and exit Recovery mode. You will now have the Organ XMB. You can later get a custom 01-12.bmp to make it look even better as well as a different wave.
Hope this helps.
And for all those other guys and gals who play with their PSP's in this way, if you do manage to brick it you can send it my way and I will Pandora it for you free of charge. You will just have to pay for the two way postage. Only PSP's with a corrupt Flash0 or Flah1 can be recovered. If the nand of the PSP is gone, then not even Pandora will unbrick it. Though it is worth a try, and I doubt anyone here would be able to break their nand. For those who have purchased new PSP's, I will install the Custom Firmware 3.71 M33-2 on it for you at no charge. Again you will just have to sort out the postage from where ever you are to PE and then back.
