The Super PSP Thread

Congrats!!!!

I am looking at swapping my Wii and games for a PSP Lite with games
Anyone know of anyone? It was a gift so no receipt, the Wii is in excellent condition so I expect the same from the PSP.

Woohoo another RPG nut.

Astonishia Story
Brave Story New Traveler
Breath of Fire III
Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy
Dragoneers Aria
Valkyrie Profile Lenneth
Y’s The Ark of Napishtim
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
Jeanne De 'Arc

If you're counting ARPG's as well, then there's loads of em, Crisis Core, Valhalla Knights, etc.

Thanks! Will research those :P

A guy that sells and does firmware downgrades/upgrades here in PTA said so. He prefers selling the fat one.

Like I said, I don't own a handheld ... but makes one think when I purchase one eventually.

I'm a small time downgrader, so he'd probably know more than me. I prefer the phat one as well.

That's BS. Go kick him in the nuts.

Hi

So I finally got hold of 3.90m33 and the official SONY 3.90 as well as 1.50 update for 3.90M33.
Still have full power bars, but when I booted 3.90M33 update, I get the following message:

Unpacking...Done
Please wait...

So I wait.Nothing happens.

Um......

Do you have any idea why this is so?

What's your current FW? Are you using the latest M33 update (3.90 version 3)?

Hi guys, wow, tis been a while. I was wondering, there are people looking to have their PSP's custom firmwared, so if there are some of you out there that can offer these services, just post it here.

Like I am in PE, and I can custom firmware your PSP for you using my Pandora Battery and also unbrick it of course. Both PSP Fat and PSP Slim. You can PM me if you have any questions.

David Reeves admits to PSP piracy problem; Sony to unveil new anti-piracy policies

Sony's PlayStation Portable has had a healthy growth over the past few years and, as much as some of us hate to admit it it, it's partly because of the global piracy issues the gaming handheld has always been experiencing.

In a statement released by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) President David Reeves to MCV, he openly recognized the piracy problem the PSP has been facing. However, during the DevStation conference in London last week, he also admitted that the trend was actually helping pull up PSP hardware sales.

Here's a quote taken from Reeves during the event, explaining his stance on the matter of PSP piracy:

There is a piracy problem on PSP. We know about it, we know how it’s done. It sometimes fuels the growth of hardware sales, but on balance we are not happy about it.

Reeves also explained that Sony is set to unveil a new anti-piracy policies which will hopefully clamp down on issue. He gave no specific details on it, but we'll be sure to pick up on any new updates as we get them.
