Dunno how realistic / accurate that is.The result was not unexpected – Telkom steadily lost market share to the wireless broadband providers. The situation has now reached the stage where there are significantly more wireless broadband connections in South Africa than ADSL subscribers. When one considers that over 98% of all broadband connections worldwide are fixed line services it becomes clear how big a mistake Telkom has made.
Does the inclusive GPRS/3G/EDGE service you get from MTN/Voda/Cell C count? If so then everyone with an enabled phone has broadband...
what were the criteria?
Was it only bundle subscribers counted?
