Ja! Absolutely!. No one in his right mind moves to CT for the weather. There is nothing to beat the Transvaal weather in SA.

Yesterday I dressed for what I felt at home and suffered in the shops because it was hot and these idiots have their A/Cs all set for the winter conditions. It felt like walking into a bloody oven in Checkers and PnP hyper and the Mica hware store.

Kids got hit hard. All furniture damaged, fridge was lying on its side, etc. Looks like the water went thru between knee and hip height. In-laws got it worse as they're on the water
