I was referring to the support team from Afrihost. They are beyond shocking.

Afrihost -- great hah. When you need to explain to their network engineers how to update a dns, then im sorry they are not "great". MTN backbone is terrible, which is what both Axxess/Afrihost use.

I had a three day rant with an engineer that couldnt fathom how the hell to update a dns. Bearing in mind this was his position.

I am not ignorant. And I was not bitching about not getting support, I was relaying the experiences of others, not my own. And comparing it to Afrihost, who you seem to have a problem with, who I have no affiliation with, but think they have an incredible client zone and actual support staff on the end of the phone, for those who need it. That's the difference compared to the Mickey Mouse that is OpenWeb, where you phone in to a secretary who promises an 'engineer' will phone back, but never does.

If semaphore is so happy, why is he vehemently defending OW and not happily and quietly consuming? We ALL have had bad experiences with each ISP out there. None will be perfect but currently the scales are not in favour of OW no matter how much you kick and scream semaphore. The worms coming out of the woodwork.

I am not defending OW, im just being objective lol. But i need to be against OW to fall in to the cool books. Trust me if i had issues with my account i would be screaming. But i am not, so how can i scream foul when i am not one of the few being effected. That would be disingenuous.

Well your experience with their support staff differ from mine. As mine as been dismal.
