The VANS self-provisioning conundrum

Basically, no, you cannot self provide, and as soon as you actually do and the IVY notices, wham ... you will get your equipment clarified into a waste of money.

The trend has been established.

I'm still thinking positively about the future napalming of Poison Ivy's arse - if VANs do go to court on the self-provisioning issue, it probably won't help their case to sue Poison Ivy in her personal capacity - although I wish they would sue her for millions - perhaps even a billion or more.

in other words telkom and dear old ivy don't wish to release their tight control/strangle hold

would be hellishly embarassing for her if they won though....

It would be excellent if anyone won anything in any case against Poison Ivy.

The problem I expect with VANs suing Poison Ivy, is that Poison Ivy's defence will be that VANs had to apply for an appropriate self-provisioning license from !CASA, and that Poison Ivy did not prevent them from taking the issue up with !CASA, and then there is SBC's & Jay Naidoo's Telecommunications Act which was in effect at the time where Poison Ivy will cowardly attempt to hide [her] behind.
