Are we not getting the new turbo power plant? Noooooo!

Methinks the turbo model would scavenge sales from the Vivo as the 1.0 engine isn't really geared for any sort of urgency...

People wanting something with a bit more oomph will probably go for the 1.6 Vivo, and a TSI Up! would hurt sales in this department

Scumbag VWSA, they should give us that lovely 1.0 TSI motor. Imagine how much the oaks at the reef will enjoy that thing. Instead of having the pap 3 cyl they have now.

You don't buy an Up! or an Vivo for urgency.

A 1.0T engine will probably be too costly to import. Afaik they don't make profit on models they import.

Man I saw many many Up!(s) today.

Most were the 3-door variety. 1 single Cross Up! that looks tops.

Strangely I have yet to see a lekker pimped out Up! yet.

Really VWSA. No tsi motor. What's the point of launching a new model which basically has a new steering wheel and radio! Was really looking forward to the new tsi motor in this car. Bunch of plonkers.

The ones down here in PE are fast enough. I saw a 5-door the other week with the seat so far back the driver had his arm out the rear window. All dem g-forces pushing the seats back...eish
