The Walking Dead [SPOILERS]

I still watch TWD and FTWD but damn... these guys have been at it so long but they still catching on DOM K*K.

Fricking Carol! Shes supposed to be the bad assest bad ass of the group but eish!
And how many times did you think Jerry wasnt gonna make it?

But hey, thats TWD! :p And thats why we still watch it i guess.

This episode was well shot in the caves and built tension well. For readers of the comics... you know what happens next with Negan :p

Of course Carol needs to fall before she redeems herself as the bad assest bad ass
 
Yes the writers need to stop with this Carol zigzag approach ie. hardcore badass then a proper weakling with self-pity for days then back to a chick with a dic then more snowflake stuff.

100% agree.. At first it worked .. seeing her come to terms with her loss etc.. now she losing herself just confuses everything.. let her be the angry one

Ja but its par for the course given the story... she got over the initial loss and then moved on by starting a family with the king. Only to have Alpha rip it away in the worst way possible. So its only right that she goes through a character building arc. I'm sure she'll be back and bad asser than before. But the fall is necessary cos plot-no-jutsu.

I've got a feeling that the guys in the mine survived and will make a return around episode 13. The best they can try and do is somehow weaken the herd in some way. Theres definitely another way out of the mine.

Next episode will probably be the aftermath of the events that played out in Alexandria.

There's plenty things that they've deviated from the comics on.

But they have followed the journey of the survivors in accordance with the comic arcs, from the initial group outside Atlanta, to the Prison, then vs woodbury (the governer), then to the DC area and starting the communities vs the Saviours and now the Whisperers.

The comic is a bit more graphic when it comes to violence, rape, mutilations etc.

Like for example, when Negan 1st joins the whisperers he tries to stop a rape happening in the camp, but Alpha reprimands him because he should not help the weak because it will not allow them to become strong. Thats the way of the whisperers

That being said, The series is still enjoyable for what it is.
 
Got round to watching the "opener". Not too bad, but I agree with the calls that Carol shape up or ship out. The character is regressing in a major way.
