Check the scene again. It's not him that's getting ripped.
There's a few options:
-They landed on a manhole which gives him the option of escaping underground.

-The bomb which they planned to set eventually goes off and blows the walkers away and also distracts them allowing Glen to escape.

- Rick drives the RV straight through the fence and over Glen killing walkers and allowing him to enter the RV from underneath.

Wtf am I not involved in this show?

Lifting a manhole cover would take both hands i.e. reasonably,he gets chowed before he even gets it off the ground.

No explosives...they were going to set a fire manually.

The RV is dead and Rick will probably abandon it shortly. Also, Glen no longer has his walkie talkie so how would anyone even know about his predicament? The only thing people on the show can know is that he is missing.

Sorry for being analytical :o ...it can like to be my job.

What's that idiot called again, the one which put a bullet through his own head? Ah, Nicolas.

Okay, so Nicolas will be unable to turn, Glenn as seen in the video shot is beneath Nicolas on the ground. Nicolas, the already dead is being eaten. As seen previously in The Walking Dead, the dead is unable to detect the living covered in the dead, except when the living drop the act. All Glenn has to do is to wait it out beneath Nicolas and use any available opportunity to put distance between him and the dead until the herd is lured away. The dead is easily attracted by noise and much is going on at the moment.

His escape is real.

Agree fully...I'm not saying Glenn is dead, just pointing out the holes in the implausible escape \ rescue plots. The others will not mount a rescue because where would they go look? Comb the town full of walkers looking for him? Illogical. He has to get out on his own which means waiting it out and then walking back.

Darryl has also took acknowledgment that Rick's radio silence may be his end. Rick couldn't get in radio contact with Glenn or the others in that tiny town. I think everyone outside Alexandria are now under the suspicion that they are alone. I guess, like the other seasons, possible reunion episodes are on the table, until the next comic 'character' shows up :whistle:
 
Best thing for Glenn now is to black out. Once the herd has finished lunch he might or might not awaken.

It's just so sad that humans behave in the manner that they do. Its been proven time and time again. The only way there is any hope of survival is if enough humans pool together with the common goal being to survive.

+1 agree fully with this theory.

Are the guys who attacked Rick different from the ones who stormed Alexandria? They had no W's on the forehead and the one who fired gunshots at him looked like a different person than the guy Morgan let go.
