They should have taken turns killing them through the fence like they did at the prison. One easily killed walker is better than leaving loose ends that could bite them in the ash later (literally bite them).

Loose ends really do need to be cleaned up and not leave itchy bums for Abraham.

Yes plz....the most annoying person (bra) on TWD at present...

By a margin...no offense to any but his black & still not killed off...

Black?

Haha, what does that have to do with anything?

Anyways, he is a super chop. He should have been off'd a long time ago.

I've got dibs on Abrahams sloppy seconds :) Next weeks episode should be good!

Wanna bet? 99% chance it will be a flashback or sub-plot episode and we will not even see what happens with the town.

Probably watching Darryl glaring through his stupid hair for 40 minutes. I wish a zombie would eat him and his fukkin crossbow. Jirre, what a chop and terrible actor.

#$%&* Glen!!

@Kosmik I also thought the spear idea might work... but all the dead-undead bodies might eventually form a ladder for the undead (think world war z). If you did this at multiple points around the fence it might have worked, spreading the bodies and pressure on the fence. Moot point if there's a large hole in your fence.

On that note, is this a plot-hole though... why would you put a watch tower on the outside of your fence??!! Convenient entry point over your fence for walker and human a like?

Jirre talk about plot holes...take your pick. First thing I would have done after putting that fence around that town ,would be to slash-and-burn for as far as possible around the place. This would include the buildings outside the perimeter. Then you can see shizzle coming a mile away...

And then rows of stakes (a bit away from the wall) to capture walkers to be put down.

I wonder what's supporting that steel? Or bracing it....oh maybe it's ..... wood?

First thing I noticed wrong with that wall of steel. The braces are on the OUTSIDE ? WTF? NO engineer will ever build it like that. It is completely illogical. You brace opposite the force that is or may be pushing against the wall.

Braces outside also make it easier to climb the walls.

The only wood attached bracing to that wall are those pieces of kindling that Rick hammers down a few minutes before the church tower collapses on that exact spot.
