You are right, this hatred and anger is probably contributing to the hijacking and violent crime in this country. That is one way of driving change but the average working man suffers the most because he doesn't have all that money to buy protection. The amount of hatred (note not anger) that is building up towards these greedy pigs is increasing by the day...
lol well im canceling my adsl today, thos guys wont get a penny from me. screw telkom mtn vodacom.
Well done guys, we need more righteous indignation. This rubbish will continue until the majority of people decide that it is unacceptable. One guy cancelling his contract is a very small start but we shouldn't have to give up our cell phones and internet connectivity just because of these selfish executives. I think change will come when we make their greedy attitudes and obscene opinions unacceptable.
I am talking about the rotten logic that says "While I was CEO this company made R200million profit so I want 10% of that." That argument is indefensible while other employees earn so little that they can barely keep alive. We need to demand that it is anti-social behaviour to be so unreasonably greedy while other people in your city or country are starving, sleeping in shacks and suffering. All I am saying is that we need to share the salaries more fairly.
Just try being anti-social to one of these greedy executives and see how quickly he loses his humour and pees all over his own shoes. If you sprayed graffiti on the white garden wall of his R20million estate, you will hear him screaming to the local Police and his bud the ward councillor and the local neighbourhood watch and the ADT patrols.
All that brouhaha for a tin of paint and an hour of the gardener's time to paint over the graffiti and yet he will let his striking workers suffer for a week with "no work, no pay" because he doesn't want to pay them an extra 1%. Not really the type of attitude you admire a person.
