Your body has a “set point” range. Around 112kg your appetite and metabolism balance out so you stop gaining, and when you eat less it settles closer to 90kg. The body basically defends a weight range, not a single number.@BBSA so here is a question for you. Why do I peak at 112kg and not get heavier no matter what. When I reduce my kJ intake I will go down to around 90kg.
Explain why I don't go heigher or lower if you can.
That would be true if not for the fact that my intake remains the same.Your body has a “set point” range. Around 112kg your appetite and metabolism balance out so you stop gaining, and when you eat less it settles closer to 90kg. The body basically defends a weight range, not a single number.
Jesus Christ, he never stops...The weight-loss injections remind me a bit of the opioid crisis in the US, not on the same scale, but in how aggressively they’re being promoted. The pharmaceutical industry made billions from addictive drugs and used online shills to dismissed criticism. So assuming they’ve suddenly become purely altruistic would be naïve.
Why are you shilling for the pharmaceutical industry?Jesus Christ, he never stops...
Because the low carb diet didn't make me healthy, rich, famous or an obnoxious prick. Why are you shilling for the pharmaceutical industry?
All I'm saying is that people must think twice before the take the easy option.
We must convert to his dogma, otherwise we are secret-agents for the health industry, as well as lazy, fat slobs with no will-power.Jesus Christ, he never stops...
Especially when the easy option directly reduces the biggest harm currently facing humanity: obesity and the health complications that result from it. For a rational person it is a no brainer. No, as was said, you were scare-mongering.
And why not take the easy option? There's is a saying, "work smarter, not harder". Applies here as well.
I just want “smart” to mean sustainable, not something I’m stuck needing forever. No, as was said, you were scare-mongering.

Ag shame, poor youBecause the low carb diet didn't make me healthy, rich, famous or an obnoxious prick.
I mean, all of this is coming from a keyboard warrior that's probably out of shape. We must convert to his dogma, otherwise we are secret-agents for the health industry, as well as lazy, fat slobs with no will-power.

Not really, just pointing out there is a healthier way. People must do whatever they want.Sure. But you keep on wanting to make what you want, what everybody else must want.

My apologies, I didn't mean to upset you.Very really. "Pointing out" is mentioning it once or twice. Not going on and on ad nauseum, and posting scare-mongering clips.
My apologies, I didn't mean to upset you.
OkayNah, just pointing out your errors of perception.
