I might be missing something here but how do you know what ingredients are needed for potions and bombs etc? I need to make the swallow potion and am missing some ingredients but for the life of me can't work out what they are?

In the Alchemy screen you can craft potions/bombs

With a recipe selected (lets use Necrophage Oil for example)

The right side of the Alchemy page will should squares with 4/3 and 0/1 above and below the centered item

You should be able to mouse over each required square to see what is required

I fully enjoyed the game last night took a while to install because someone at CPR screwed with the naming on the disc... anyway...
My current system is a i3, HD7950, 8GB RAM, im running this game on ultra with no hassles??? weird thought I might have to tune the graphics down. character movement and cut scenes was a bit choppy so I tuned down the hair thing as suggested.
A quite despise the GoG app thingy, I could not play at first even after ALL the patches was installed, play button was grayed out.
So I was WTF now??
I eventually remember if all else fails do a restart of the system as per GR10 computer science... LOL
well it worked
Game started up and I was all smiles
I noticed that in the main menu is stated that I'm on 1.02...ffs Im going to play anyway, ended up going to sleep at 0h30
upon exiting to my desktop GoG app started installing something...:wtf: low and behold it seemed like 1.03???
After that was done I just had to start the game up, because I wanted to see the difference, it was good and had to go asleep
I can't wait to play again after work

My Score so far 9/10

Just practice your evasive manoeuvres. You can't die if you don't get hit.

Should've paid more attention during the tutorial

I don't mind dying after storming a horde of overpowered bandits/monsters and dying, what pisses me off is the time it takes to load and try again.

I seem to have a little problem, the does not want to install from the discs,
It starts the setup then a window pops up requesting to select SETUP_TH-1
there is no such file on any of the discs... please help

EDIT: someone at CPR fscked up the naming of the file on the CDs, now I have to flippen copy everything to my HDD first...ffs

There are 2 versions.
GOG version using GOG launcher and Steam version integrated into Steam.
Updates will all run from Steam if the Steam version is owned otherwise you use the GOG client.

Game is fantastic, hands down best RPG I've played in years.

Combat wise if you guys are struggling a bit, make use of everything available to you - signs, oils, potions. Parry vs humans, dodge/roll vs monsters.

It's very much the same thing imo.
I bought GTA V for rockstar rather than Steam and it made no difference.
I launch it via steam anyway and it tracks my ingame time on steam as well.

No. All boxed copies are the GOG version.

It's not your choice. It will be a GOG code.
