The Witcher 3 Official thread

Anyone else getting regular crashes?

Haven't had a single crash. Playing on PC with HD7970.

Don't have a PC. Looking to spend RR25 grand easy with a monitor

How can you not have a PC? Shouldn't buying a PC take preference over buying a gaming console?

And very, very few people spend R25k on a rig. The few that do, like myself, only achieve such value by upgrading the components individually over time.

Do it, you won't be disappointed. I haven't played a game this good in a long long time.

Just finished the bloody baron quest line, shìt's intense.

I would . . . thing is, I bought Project CARS this month. Will have to wait till next month.

Anyway, I'm gonna go against the grain and say I honestly liked the other two games more. This one isn't bad, but it gets a bit tedious sometimes. The open world is filled with a lot of generic filler content and the main story isn't gripping like it was in the previous two.

Just finished the game and must say loved the main story quests but i have to say i read every book and note i looted and that help filled the world immensely and would recommend other do the same. Will now be doing a 2nd play through on a harder difficulty and hopefully end up with a different ending even though i was happy with the one i got :)

How many hours per day are you playing? The game was released 5 days back.

CD Projeckt Red said it's about 50 hours for the main quest and 50 hours for side quest.
If you only played the main quest, thats 10 hours a day that you have put in, given that you played from release.

Dude, are you playing with an Adult diaper or maybe an catheter on? Student or working?

Maybe he has a laptop? Not everyone needs a gaming rig.

I'm looking for the baron's daughter, but i've been pacing myself. Considering getting project cars.

Or he can just do what he wants and ignore you and all your input?

Thanks for the stating the obvious. I said my route will save him money. If he doesn't care about saving money then he can do what he wants.

44h 37m so quite a few the fun about having off days arranged :) had to rush through since i messed up a few side quests since i did not know what caused the fail states so will be much more careful now with all the quests and i got the game as soon as it came out due to preload and 1am release made sure to have a few Redbull's with me :D

Edit: Also CPRD said 50h for main and 50h for side quests but that is not entirely accurate a speed run was done in 25+- Hours

Something to look forward to at least.

I think you're crazy man, this game is fantastic. The atmosphere alone.

Trying to do the same, playing other stuff here and there but it's hard.

I can heartily recommend playing on a hard difficulty, it can be frustrating at first but highly rewarding once you get into it.

One think I do find the guys voice a bit irritating at times. I wonder if the voice actor had some serious throat issues after all of it.
