The Witcher 3 Official thread

Controls are fine not any worse then the previous 2 witcher games.

I suppose that is my downfall. I'm getting the hang of it. Just damn hard to try and push backspace while in battle so I can change my consumables :p And then press R instead of F when I need to eat or drink and visa versa

You can hit i for inventory as well if you need to change consumables.

Probably could have gotten it for cheaper. But decided there is no way I'm going to download that client. So not to bad :o

I got 2 stickers for the difference, and a map :p

No way R250 for 2 stickers and a map, what a deal.

LOL :P

kidding

Where'd you get it from? I got it for R400 from TakeAlot with a R100 off voucher.

That's downright disingenuous. The controls are definitely not as precise or responsive as in Witcher 2.

If you say so, for me they are...For reference I have finished witcher 2 4 times, I know the controls...

Bought my copy from GOG wanted to support CDPR directly as i loved the first 2 games GreenManGaming had it quite cheap but rumors have been flying around they get their keys from questionable sources at times

I played Witcher 2 mere days before 3 came out. The controls are a lot different and a lot less precise. In Witcher 3 it sometimes hits Assassin's Creed levels of confusion, where I'm never sure if Geralt is going to do what I want him to. Never had that issue in either of the previous games.

Is there a point to this post?

Guess our experiences differ then.

Controls are fine for me. Haven't had any precision issues or anything.

Considering how you often have to trek back and forth just to Geralt in the right 'position' to loot something on the ground, I think the controls are very clunky and imprecise.

ITT: Some people don't like the controls, but others do. Let's discuss at length.

Oh, stop QQing already. If you're pissy because people discuss a variety of topics in a metathread, go to reddit where people discuss them in separate threads.
